Washington, D.C. (Stone Sports Management, LLC) – August 19, 2014

Stone Sports Management LLC ("SSM") is pleased to announce the agency's second German transfer for the 2014-15 season with Venezuelan International Rolf Feltscher's signing with Liga 3 side MSV Duisburg.  The 23 year old has been capped 6 times by the South American side after he switched to his mother's home country after playing over 40 matches with various Swiss Youth National Teams.

Feltscher had several opportunities as a Free Agent this summer including returning to Switzerland, Austria, Venezuela and Major League Soccer but chose to play in Germany after visiting the club and seeing the fans and the quality of Duisburg stadium.  "I was surprised at the quality level of Liga 3 and became quite impressed with the club, city and fans after watching the club's victory over Nurenburg in the German Cup," said Feltshcer.  The Schauinsland Reisen Arena holds 31,500 people, and the Swiss-Venezuelan is expected to contribute in the defensive midfield position and in defense.

"This is a great fit for Rolf as Duisburg is a traditional Bundesliga club having last year be its first in non-Bundesliga due to finances and is expected to compete from promotion," remarked SSM's President Justin B. Stone.  "It is important for Rolf to enter a new market, and I am confident Germany will provide him with a positive environment."

Feltscher emerged onto the scene as a teenager for Grasshoppers Zurich playing in over 70 matches as a teenager including UEFA Champions League.  His bright start earned him a six-figure transfer move to Serie A's Parma where he would play in 11 matches before getting loaned to Serie B club's Grosetto and Padova.  Feltshcer returned to Swiss football last year where he signed for Swiss Super League Lausanne, but the club did not have a positive 2013-14 season and was relegated, prompting Feltscher's ability to sign with MSV Duisburg on a free transfer.

"Sercan Guvenisik must be given lots of credit for this transfer.  Sercan played for MSV Duisburg and used his contacts at the club to introduce Rolf who did the rest making a positive impression in front of the club's Trainer Gino Letteri, Sports Director Ivo Grlic and his new teammates," remarks Mr. Stone.  "Sercan and I would like to congratulate Rolf and wish him well at his new club."
